WELCOME TO ROBYN BAUER STUDIO
Robyn Bauer is a Brisbane based artist well known for her paintings and drawings of the urban environment of Brisbane, its houses and street scenes particularly the inner city areas of Paddington, Red Hill and Mt Coot-tha. She can often be seen with her easel, painting in the streets around the suburbs. She has a particular love for the old trees that line the streets, the magnificent old Fig Trees have provided worthy subjects. She has won numerous awards for her Brisbane paintings of the older inner city suburbs. These are now available as prints from the gallery.
She was made a Fellow of the Royal Queensland Art Society in 2019 and has had many successful solo exhibitions and won numerous awards.
She produces a new series of work every year and in 2020 broke new ground with her still life paintings of cultural objects, plants and art history references. She is currently painting full time from her Paddington based studio.
